There are different stages of development that human undergo. These stages are Sensorimotor, Preoperational, Concrete Operational, and Formal Operational. They explain our development physically and psychologically from birth to death. A psychologist named Jean Piaget, deeply analyzed the development process in us humans. We develop some traits including reflexes, ability to reason, and dealing with possibilities.
Jean Piaget was a swiss biologist and psychologist. He is also known as the father of Cognitive Development. He published a book called Albino Sparrow at age 11. He married and had three children. His curiosity in child development started when analyzing his children in their adolescent ages. He was able to conclude that children undergo specific stages that leads to maturity if adulthood. He discovered four stages of development: Sensorimotor, Preoperational, Concrete Operational, and Formal Operational. These add up and shape the development of children as they age.
Morality is the feeling of thought that we believe as we experience through our childhood. It is caused by the errors that we make over the course of development. We mold our thoughts through experience and therefore we develop schema. Schema is also known as assimilation which we take into belief as one kind. Sometimes this causes ego centrism in children concluded by Piaget. Therefore children sometimes have to learn from older beings to be taught the difference between right and wrong before they are able to make their own decisions.
